Every Nigerian in the UK knows the feeling. You buy garri that doesn't swell like home. You buy elubo that's been mixed with something else, and your àmàlà comes out wrong. And real dried Ijebu ponmo? You can't find it anywhere.
We felt it too. So we looked closely at the African food shops here and saw what was missing: the real Ijebu taste.
Back home, everyone knows the best garri, elubo and ponmo come from Ijebu. That's where we source ours: self-dried and fried, pure and never mixed, packed by people who know what it should taste like.
